I have bought a new computer with a Pentium 4 microproccessor running Windows XP at 1.8 GHz using 512 MBytes of RAM. Compared to my old system which ran with a Cyrix microproccessor at 166 MHz with Windows 95 using 32 MBytes of RAM I expect things to improve a bit. For the moment I am now in the process of transfering my files to the new computer and tweaking it's performance and setting.

Previously

I have, more or less, completed the correction of the HTML coding. I took the opportunity at the same time to slightly improve the navigation by adding buttons to the top of the page beside the ones at the bottom. I have also re-organised the file structure splitting each section into separate folders. A direct consequence of this is that search results are now invalid until such time as the search engine get around to re-indexing my site.

Past

I continue to learn more things about HTML. For example I foolishly though you would put a table footer at the bottom of the table - how stupid could I be! As a result I have nearly completed the correction of the HTML code and can get back to the more important business of updating and completing the data entry for the information I have collected so far.

Those regular visitors to this site will have noticed that for some time now I have not updated the site. The reason for this is that I have been busy moving house. As with any new home there are many odds and ends which need fixing. Until such time as my wife stops nagging me to have them sorted out, my time is commited to those tasked instead of this site. I hope to get back to this hobby in the very near future.
