The Buddies of the Ninth aims are:
- To perpetuate the achievements of the men and machines of the Ninth US Army Air Force during WW II.
- To honour the memory of those who sacrificed so much to give us the freedom we enjoy today.
- To make ourselves freely available to assist veterans and their kin whenever they visit the area in which we are individually domiciled.
- To promulgate, research and publicise their deeds so that the wider world may be aware of their accomplishments.
- To seek, and maintain friendly relations with Ninth Air Force veterans, making them aware of the great feeling of gratitude that still exists in this country for the vital part they played in the victorious outcome of WW II.
- To assist our members in the gaining of knowledge, and to share with them. altruistically, all available information relating to the history of the US Ninth Air Force.
